I haven't had a mango in a very long time, so I decided to buy one yesterday. I'd have mango more frequently at home because my dad is from El Salvador and I was raised eating some Hispanic foods. This morning, the mango got me thinking of not only home and my family but also El Salvador. Over the past 5 years or so, my interest in visiting El Salvador has skyrocketed. Now I want to figure out a way to visit this summer with my dad and hopefully my whole family.
